Mouse anti-human EGFR - example of PRECOMPLEXING1214 viewsThis is human tumor grown in mouse. I wanted to stain for EGFR w/ a mouse monoclonal antibody. Standard procedure would be staining mouse on mouse which would give background. Instead I precomplexed my mouse anti-human primary Ab w/ anti-mouse IgG-biotin secondary in a tube. Then (with some additional blocking) I added it to the mouse tissue and developed with Streptavidin-HRP and DAB+.
Observe the EGFR positivity in the epidermoid tumor & no staining in the mouse supportive stroma.
