Anti-mouse PCNA

Hello...I didn't see a protocol for anti-mouse PCNA on the IHC World protocols list and I was wondering if anyone had a decent one or could at least recommend a good antibody. Please let me know. Thanks...Jen.

Santa Cruz Anti-PCNA sc-56 works will with mouse tissue. You can use the following protocol:

However, if background is high, you need to use MOM blocking (some tissues do not need this blocking).

Is there a specific reason you want to use PCNA?  Rabbit Monoclonal Ki67 works very well on mouse tissue and is a better marker of proliferation.

I completely agree. If you are looking for a proliferation marker, PCNA isn't the way to go. Ki67 is are far superior and there are other even more specific ones than Ki67 depending on what stage of the cell cycle you are interested in.

Forget PCNA. I have to agree to all otehrs- KI67 is the way to go!

The best Ki67 antibody I have worked with is the one from Lab Vision - Rabbit Monoclonal antibody.

I am surprised by all comments:))
Cause recently I have read a publication comparing Ki-67 and PCNA: It has been shown, that PCNA detect all proliferating cells, in contrast to Ki-67, wich does not recognize a part of them.
