Anyone knows the optimal dilution of mouse anti-rat ki 67 MIB-5 from Dako for skeletal muscle? As I have checked the instruction from Dako website, but it is not available for public now.

Thanks!

The following protocol is similar to the antibody you mentioned. Use this a general guideline.

Hope this helps.

thx Richard,

I also have looked this protocol before, but I worry that the dilution is different because of different species.

Leonard,

I just checked Dako website and found the datasheet. The recommended dilution is 1:25-1:50 and AR is citrate buffer pH6. Here you go.

Hi -- for what it's worth, Abcam has a Ki67 rabbit mono-clonal (yes, unusual to have a rabbit mono-clonal) which works beautifully in rat using the DAKO Envision kit which is easy as pie.  Good luck with it!

I have in my notes I have used MIB5 at 1-3 ug/ml with DAKO's Target Retrieval Solution with good success. Good luck and don't forget to come back and let us know how it works out.
