I read in the introduction to IHC in this site that it is not recommended to use Triton X-100 when trying to detect membrane antigenes. I am now trying to set a procedure for dopamine transporter IHC. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to increase the antibody penetration without using triton? maybe someone can help me and suggest any working procedure for DAT? (sections- 4% PAF)

Membrane proteins are usually on cell surface and make antibody easy to bind so there is no need to use Triton to enhance penetration. If you really need to do so, a lower conc of Triton X-100 (0.05-0.1%) can be used and it should be no harm to the antibody binding.
