Ki-67 clone MM1
« on: March 08, 2006, 10:43:38 AM »
Does anyone has experience on staining Ki-67 clone MM-1 in dog tissue? I have tried both MIB-1 (DAKO) and MM-1 (novocastra) but it was not successful. I use AR by heating in MW 800 watt 5 minx 2 times, isn't it enough? or if anyone has any recommendation? Thank you.

Are you sure it cross react with dog tissue?

10 minutes AR may not be long enough. 20 minutes is common, and some antigens may need longer time.

If still not working, try this Rabbit Monoclonal (Clone SP6) from Labvision, and it has cross reactivity with dog.

Here is the protocol.

Hi, Thank you so much
Today I will try to AR more than usual (may be 30 min) and see how it will work. If it is not, maybe I have to change the Antibody as you recommend.

Dear Richard,
Thank you again for your recommend because today I tired to AR for about 35 min and it does work with the Ki-67 antibody in dog tissue both MM1 and MIB 1. I just want to post this results in case if anyone will have the problem like me.
