Is there a chart that describes what fixation methods work best for various organelles? What works well for lysosomes?

In general, formalin or formaldehyde is the best fixative for preserving tissue and cell morphology so it should work well for various organelles.

You can buy a bottle of formaldehyde and dilute 1:10 with water. Here is a protocol list for your reference.

That was just protocol I have been using. But I agree that Buffered Formalin should work better than Un-buffered formalin, especially in preserving ultrastructure.
