Hi people,
I transplanted human stem cells into the kidney capsule and retrieve them 2 months later. The H&E slides showed graft like structure which look like exocrine/endocrine. My supervisor told me that these cells could be originated from the mouse it self (mouse pancreatic tissues which attached to the kidney).
As i'm not an expert in mouse histology/anatomy, I would like to ask people opinion in the forum. Is it common for the mouse pancreas to be attached to the kidney??? Cause i'm pretty sure that we separate the kidney from other tissues physically.
I'm planning to do human specific Antibody staining as well in the future.
Thank you
