Has anyone had success with these antibodies in 4% para or formalin-fixed paraffin sections?

Followings are articles using NG2 and PDGF alpha Receptor antibodies on paraffin sections.

1. Expression of Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-A (PDGF-A), PDGF-B, and PDGF Receptor- and -ß during Human Testicular Development and Disease. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism Vol. 87, No. 5 2310-2319.

2. Human uveal melanoma expresses NG2 immunoreactivity.  British J. Ophthalmol 2003 May;87(5):629-32

A polyclonal antibody (PDGFR alpha) from Santa Cruz Biotecnnology (sc-338) works for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. A microwave citrate buffer (pH 6.0) pretreatment for 20 minutes is required. Primary antibody at 1:400 dilution for overnight incubation. Skin is a good control tissue.
