interference with DNA

Hi everybody,

does anybody of you know if and how the following two immunoenzymatic staining procedures interfere with DNA and/or cause DNA damage:

1. BCIP/NBT Alkaline Phosphatase Substrate Solution
(5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indoyl phosphate and Nitroblue tetrazolium)

2. New Fuchsin Alkaline Phosphatase Substrate Solution
(New Fuchsin, Sodium Nitrite, Naphthol AS-Bis Phosphate, Levamisol)

What you listed aren't procedures but are substrates. Are you asking about a whole procedure or those specific compounds? Either way we need more details.
