Title: good + control for TUNEL-Enzyme method
Post by: Jennybean on August 03, 2005, 01:50:29 PM
Hello- I'm an IHC newbie and I'd like to test for apoptosis in sections of mouse mammary and testicluar tumors (originally fixed in NBF) using the TUNEL-enzyme method. I'd like to buy slides to use as positive controls as opposed to making them myself. Any good suggestions?

Chemicon sell positive control slides come with apoptosis kits. I am not sure if they sell slides separately? You give it a try.

I think using a homemade DNase treated slide is the way to go. I do it all the time, it's easy and a good control (and cheap!).
