Can ki 67 be treated by proteinase K as antigen retrieval for mouse skeletal muscle (formalin, paraffin)? if yes, any conditions need? Thanks

Ki-67 is the best with HIER such as citrate pH6, or edta pH8. Enzyme digestion (PIER) will not work as good as HIER for this particular antibody.  Also digestion usually gives more tissue damage so I also try to avoid this if other retrieval methods worked.
