Title: Mitotracker in cultered cells
Post by: Sanaz on August 06, 2010, 02:07:19 AM
HI All,
I am looking for advice on why the mitotracker red dye my student is using keeps localisaing in the nucleus , yet, only leaves a very wishy washy cytoplasmic blush, and not the strong punctiform staining. The protocol has been used to the letter and fresh batches of 4% paraformaldehyde, or even ice cold acetone always used. They are transfected HEK293 cells. Thanks so much.
