Title: should I believe the companies, IgG2 or 3
Post by: NicaBiker on February 08, 2004, 03:49:15 PM
Hello,

this is my first post.  I'm planning to use an F. tularensis antibody for immunofluorescence (confocal) on cultured cell.  The commercial sources say that these primary Ab's are OK for IF applications, but I am yet to find any paper that has used them as such.  Should I believe the companies, even though I have not been able to find anyone who has used them for IF?  Also, there are two choices, both are monoclonal from mouse but one is IgG2 and the other is IgG3.  Does anyone know which is better?

Thanks a bunch,

Hildy
