Title: mounting sections
Post by: cook675 on May 22, 2014, 09:17:24 PM
Just finished doing an IHC on some free floating brain sections and going to mount.  however, an emergency arose and I need to take care of some business that will last most of the afternoon.

Is it okay to leave the finished sections in wash buffer (there in PBS right now) protected from light (right now its in PBS) overnight and mount them first thing tomorrow morning?  Would doing this compromise the staining in any way?

Thanks!

This is too late to help you now but for future reference...

Did you develop with DAB. If so, it is fine to leave the sections in buffer overnight.
