Non-specific cell staining with Proteinase K treatment
« on: December 06, 2006, 05:43:53 PM »
Hi,

I am using a proteinase K treatment for antigen retrieval to stain paraffin slides with laminin.  However, I am noticing that there is some non-specific cell staining being picked up.  Is this common with pk treament?

You may need to use more diluted primary ab. Also reducing the pk concentration may help too.
