ABC method for CD3 polyclonal antibody
« on: March 02, 2009, 11:15:11 AM »
Hello all,

I am looking to use a CD3 polyclonal antibody to show T cells in paraffin-embedded thymus tissue.  I am looking at one from either Genetex or DAKO.  I don't know which one is better, so if anyone has any preferences please let me know.  Also, my lab works primarily with the ABC method and we usually use kits from either Zymed or Santa Cruz.  Does anyone know if there is a good combo of antibody and kit that would be successful?  This will probably take a few tries because the tissue I'm using is from manatee.

Thanks,
Kim

I've used the CD3 from Dako on sheep and rabbit tissues (Paraffin embedded vascular tissue) and developed with the LSAB2 kit from Dako with pretty good success.
