Trizma base vs. Tris base
« on: November 10, 2009, 09:45:04 AM »
I recently read that Trizma-base is DIFFERENT from Tris-base.  I cannot see how this can be.  The chemical name, linear formula, molecular weight, CAS number. pKa, etc. are all the same for both.  I am inclined to use them interchangeably.  Am I wrong?

Thanks!
