phosphoSTAT2 Histology, anybody out there?
« on: November 17, 2009, 09:26:59 AM »
Hi all, I am trying to establish a staining for phosphorylated STAT2 in mice, I already tried the only two commercially available antibodies specified for histology I could find. They where from Abcam and Acris and both specified for paraffin. I tried different antigen retrievals, tried adding Triton or Tween, but they both do not stain nuclear in my positive controls but instead outside the nucleus both in my positive and negative controls (I know that those are OK because PhosphoStat1 staining works nicely). Seem to be unspecific.
Any suggestions, somebody doing this? Cryo maybe?

Thanks in advance
