There are 4 companies on the market that offer you instruments for Laser (capture) microdissection. They are very different in theire isolation methods because of patent issues (not because they are "specialised" for one application)
Arcturus (the first and best known in the market) has the ArcturusXT. The Cap melts and captures the cell.
Molecular Machines and Industries: SmartCut Plus or CellCutPlus. Cells are on a membrane and the membrane is adhesively sticking on the cap.
Leica: LMD6500 and LMD7000 (Well known in Asia). The sample gets cut out and is expected to fall into the cap of a tube.
Carl Zeiss: PALM Microbeam. The sample is cut and catapulted upwards into a cap.
The first two companies preserve the morphology of the sample and you can see if the isolation did work.
If you know what system you have I can help you.
