Cobalt Chloride as a tissue dye
« on: July 27, 2010, 09:47:49 AM »
I am currently using Cobalt Chloride to dye prostate tissue cores during processing. I am trying to find a scientific reference that speaks to cobalt chloride used in sucha  way (added to isopropyl alcohol step during tissue processing) and specifically cites lack of interference with IHC techniques. Does anyone know of sucha  article? I know Milestone Medical makes commercially available solutions with cobalt chloride added for the purpose of tissue dying but they didnt have any scientific references specific to cobalt chloride dye.
