cell expression signature
« on: September 09, 2010, 03:06:26 PM »
Hi! I am wondering if there are any websites that give information regarding protein expression signatures for commonly used cell lines. I am wanting to look at the ubiquitination of a protein that we have stably transfected in HEK 293 cells, and I am wondering if HEK cells endogenously express the ubiquitin ligases necessary for its ubiquitination or if they would need to be transfected with this as well.

You might try the protein atlas.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately HPA doesn't have  much information regarding expression for the protein I'm interested in.  :-\
