What fixation can be used for TUNEL, other than formaldehyde
« on: September 27, 2004, 04:30:24 PM »
I am trying to do the double staining with TUNEL and immunostaining of cryosectioned tumor sample. The problem is that the antibody for immunostaining will not work for formadehyde-fixed samples.

Has anyone ever did TUNEL with samples fixed in other way?

If you stain human tissues, mouse anti-human CD31 from Dako works well with formalin fixation.

Thanks for the info.

I am working with mouse tumor and currently have BD Pharmingen rat-anti-mouse CD31 on hands.
