Crystal formation over Paraffin sections after IHC

I was wondering if anyone has seen crystals formed over their tissue sections after immunostaining & dehydration...  I used ABC kit and DAB & VIP substrate kits from Vector lab on my mouse intestine paraffin sections.    I saw strange crystals all over my sections...Not on the slides...   Could it be from old xylene?  or old tween 20 in my wash buffer?  or maybe DAB kit (though it's not expired)??

It may be a drying artefact of any solution. Do you incubate your slides in a wet chamber?
Onother possibility is, that your chromogen has precipitated before use. Sometimes it is helpfull to warm the chromogen a little bit and vortex it before use.
