Detection of neutrophils in mouse lungs
(1/1)
PGamradt:
Hello,
I'm searching for a method to detect neutrophils in paraffin sections from mouse lungs.
As it is also recommended for paraffin sections, used the Naphtol AS-D Chloroacetate from Sigma-Aldrich.
However, I was not very successful detected the neutrophils even though I could clear see them in the H&E staining. Unfortunately this is not good enough for my purpose.
To be sure the kit worked I also stained some liver sections with huge infiltrates and here I was able to see the neutrophils appearing in light pink as expected.
Is there something special about lung tissue that I have to consider? Or are there other good methods to detect such cells in the lung?
I would be very happy if you could make some suggestions on my problem!
Thank you in advance!
