Deglycosylation in situ
« on: April 29, 2014, 03:31:15 PM »
Hi fellow researchers,

Does anyone know if it is possible to deglycosylate a protein while still within a brain slice?

I study a GPCR which i know from western blot analysis is glycosylated, as PNGaseF treatment causes a band shift. I am worried that when in situ, the glycosylated form is not well labelled with my antibody, so i would like to deglycosylate the protein while still in the slice to improve antibody labelling.

Can anyone help with this?

Cheers
