I am going to do Cresyl Violet staining on human brain tissue.  I found that there are two ready-to-used solution interesting in EMS. One is Cresyl Violet Acetate, 2% Aqueous and another is Crystal Violet, 1% Aqueous. Which one I should select and what is the difference of using Cresyl Violet and Cresyl Violet Acetate solution.
Thanks a lot for any help!

Sorry for the mistake. It is Crystal Violet, 1% Aqueous used for distinguishing Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
