as I know, protein microarray are being applied in: diagnostics, proteomics, protein functional analysis, antibody characterization, and treatment development. take some examples: the detection of antigens and antibodies in blood samples, the identification of protein-protein interactions, the development of antigen-specific therapies for autoimmunity, etc, are all of its applications, hope it can help.

Peptide Microarray are applied to medicine field. As for its applications,  it can be classified into two classes.Firstly, protein function microarray, which can detect a mass of natural proteins at the same time. Secondly, protein-detecing micoarray, which can be used as a analysis tool and will be applied to clinical diagnosis, pharmaceutical research and environment monitoring.
But besides protein microarray, there are other micoarrays, for example, peptide microarrays.A peptide microarray (also commonly known as peptide chip or peptide epitope microarray) is a collection of peptides displayed on a solid surface, usually a glass or plastic chip.
