dark precipitates on colorectal crypts
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:14:34 AM »
I often see dark precipitates on human colorectal glands (normal, but also adenomatous) when I perform IHC or ISH. They are in a slightly different focus than the epithelium. They become a problem when I have to make pictures.
See please the attached figure.
It is not dirt from my solutions or containers (manual procedures): they are very clean!

Do you have an idea of what they can be?

Thanks and best regards
