with or without gloves?
« on: January 21, 2016, 07:32:00 AM »
Hi,

I have a kind of general question about coverslipping of paraffin sections after staining. Due to the recent moving to a new building, we have been request to apply a one-glove-only policy in the histology lab. However, in my experience coverslipping is done with both gloves, in the fume hood. I see that gloves do get dirty when coverslipping, and that is according to me a sufficient reason to wear them (and of course taking them out when finished). What do you think about it? any comment is welcome.
kind regards,
Angela
