p16 inappropriate abnormal staining
« on: January 28, 2016, 05:41:00 PM »
Hi there

We are having major problems with our p16 antibody. It happens about once per month when a sample will stain completely inappropriately. All our samples are cervical biopsies taken at a colposcopy clinic. 99% of the time the staining is fine but then all of a sudden we get this really strange staining which is not suitable for diagnosis. I am including pictures from some cases. If anyone has ANY suggestions at all about what could be the problem please let me know. By the way we put a positive control on the same slide as the test sections and it always stains appropriately

Thanks
