Distinguish type 1 from type 2
« on: March 18, 2005, 08:17:06 AM »
Hello!
I'm from Germany, so please excuse my lousy english.
I'm in the need to distinguish type 1 Alveolarcells from Type2 cells in rat/mouse tissue by Immunohistology. So i'm looking for an antibody that could propably work(on one of them) on formalin fixed , paraffinated tissue.
I'm measuring cell proliferation and therefore i do Brdu staining on lung tissue. My idea was, to do a double staining(Brdu/ ???) to see which type of Alveoli is labeled. Maybe someone could give me some information?
Thank in advance and greetings
