1 hr vs O/N?
« on: April 11, 2005, 06:38:21 PM »
The general IHC protocol calls for primary antibody exposure for 1 hr at room temp or overnight in the fridge. Is one any better than the other?

Thanks in advance,
DocBob

Not really, you will just have to see how the results are for your antibody when comparing the two methods. Overnight mainly gives you a stopping point for the day when there are time constraints.

In my experience, ON 4C gives less background staining than 1h RT
